Saint Lucia has received financing from the World Bank towards the Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (DVRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services for the development of a sustainable NSDI by undertaking a multi-faceted approach involving policy, organizational/enterprise processes, and technologies. The consulting services include geospatial policy review of the legal enabling environment and make recommendations for policy changes that are necessary to support geospatial activities; Analysis of the current state of NSDI components and capabilities in Saint Lucia aimed towards the creation of a change strategy to implement the NSDI in line with the goals and needs of the Government of Saint Lucia towards a change strategy that include elicitation, enterprise culture assessment, gap assessment, solution evaluation of data portals, change strategy including support for legal change implementation, support for institutional and technological implementation. Assistance in the implementation of policy, technological and organizational changes necessary for the NSDI. The assignment will be for the duration of two calendar years (24 months).
