Saint Lucia Disaster Relief Fund : Hurricane Tomas

On October 30th 2010, Hurricane Tomas swept through Saint Lucia leaving behind unprecedented damage to the physical, social and economic infrastructure of the island. This is by far one of the worst disasters to have struck this nation with damage estimated to run into hundreds of millions of dollars. The rebuilding effort undoubtedly will require huge inputs of human and financial resources.

In the past few days, the Government of Saint Lucia has received numerous requests from individuals and organizations both local and overseas as well as friendly governments, eager to assist in the relief and recovery efforts.  In light of this, the Government of Saint Lucia has established the Saint Lucia Disaster Relief Fund.  Accordingly, Government wishes to advise of the following bank accounts into which financial contributions from individuals and organizations could be deposited:
