Public Procurement Plan

Section 39(6) of the Public Procurement Act No. 19 of 2015, amended No. 13 of 2020 requires that a notice be published containing information with respect the public procurement plans for the financial year. This requirement is intended to alert our suppliers of the intentions of the Government with respect to the acquisition of goods, works and services.  It is a critical component of the transparency required by the legislative framework.

Unfortunately not all agencies have been compliant with the requirement to submit a plan.  With this in mind, it is our intent to publish an updated plan when all the updates are made available. This initial plan is being published in the Gazette, posted on the government procurement portal (https://goslprocurement.govt.lc) and the Ministry of Finance website in accordance with the legislative requirement. Subsequent updates shall be posted on the websites.
