Cabinet by Conclusion No. 148 of 2025, dated February 24, 2025, approved the establishment of a Climate Finance Unit (CFU) for Saint Lucia to increase climate finance flows into Saint Lucia from domestic and external sources. The Unit will be embedded as a Project Office within the Department of Finance and will work closely with the Department of Sustainable Development.

Given the above-stated and in an effort to facilitate the operationalization of the Unit, the Department of Finance requests the advertisement of the position of Director, Climate Finance Unit on all relevant platforms. It is further recommended that the advertisement of the position be extended to the wider OECS and internationally.
